Get Ready for Spring!

Get ready for spring | Sewickley Spa
Spring is the precursor to summer. Now is the time to start thinking about how to get your body ready for the spring season and the upcoming warmer weather and sunny days!

Think Healthy

If you want to have more energy for summer, don’t wait until June to get started. Start adding healthier foods back into your diet. We tend to steer away from them in favor of comfort food during the colder months and that can add a few unwanted pounds.

You also want to rethink your skin care routine. The winter months are much dryer and we have to use more lotions and creams to compensate, but you may be able to cut back in the spring. Too much product will clog your pores and could lead to more breakouts. We offer a variety of facials that can help you get your skin spring and summer ready.

You’ll also want to pick up your physical activity. Even if you’re the active, healthy type we all tend to get a bit sluggish over the winter. Try to get outside on nice days and do a little bit of walking. Go to the park and take some pictures of the budding flowers!

Think Smooth Skin

Once you’ve gotten some healthy steps back into your routine, you also want to think about the upcoming swimsuit season. Parts of you that have been comfortably covered for several months may soon see the light of day again.

Look for exfoliators to smooth out your legs in addition to lotions. Get one of our pedicures to make sure your feet flip flops and sandals ready! And make sure to look at all our waxing options! We all hate shaving, we all want to be smooth and hair free for the upcoming season. We can help you with that with our easy and affordable waxing options.
